The Villa Miyako (Main Villa)

8 guests · 2 bedrooms · 3 beds · 2 bathrooms

Winner of a top travel site's Guest Favorite award three years running, The Villa Miyako is a whole-villa rental built for groups who want to be together — without giving up privacy. Two families, two couples, three generations, old friends: 100㎡, single-story, sleeps up to 8, with two full bathrooms and two toilets so mornings never turn into a queue. Bedroom 1 has a king bed with its own ensuite toilet, with the bathroom just outside the room; Bedroom 2 is a twin room (2 semi-double beds) with its own toilet and shower room. Two completely independent sets of facilities, so two families can share the villa without stepping on each other's routines. A raised tatami nook beside the living room adds two more futon sets for extra guests or an afternoon nap. The bedrooms sit apart from each other for real privacy, while the open living/dining room brings everyone back together, with a dedicated workspace for anyone who needs to log on. The kitchen is stocked like a serious home cook's: a De'Longhi automatic espresso machine (beans included), a Balmuda toaster, a Vitamix blender, pots and pans in every size, and enough dishware for a full house — the kind of "live like a local" trip where you cook Miyako beef and fresh seafood from the supermarket down the road. Beds use Serta mattresses, the same brand used at Halekulani Okinawa, paired with carefully chosen linens and pillows. In-room washer and dryer mean beach towels and swimsuits are clean and dry the same day. Right next door is the sister villa En — book both together for up to 16 guests, ideal for large multi-family reunions. Rental cars can be arranged for guests at preferential rates (an 8-seat Toyota Voxy or a compact kei car), with airport pickup included from Miyako Airport. Details are shared after booking.

The Villa Miyako — En

8 guests · 4 bedrooms · 3 beds · 1 bathrooms

A new sister villa has joined The Villa Miyako — Miyako Island's beloved whole-villa brand. Wake up to the smell of freshly ground coffee, cook island ingredients in the kitchen whenever the mood strikes, and after a long day at the beach, wash and dry everything the same day so you travel light. This is the "live like a local" kind of trip you can't get at a hotel. Since opening, The Villa Miyako brand has won a top travel site's Guest Favorite award three years running. En is its sister villa, prepared with the same care and quality. 100㎡, single-story, 4 bedrooms, sleeps up to 8. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, Bedrooms 2 and 3 each have a double bed, and the tatami Bedroom 4 comes with two futon sets. The tatami nook beside the living room is a favorite spot for kids to play, for yoga, or just to lie down for a bit. Please note: there is one bathroom and one toilet (the main villa, The Villa Miyako, has two of each; here at En there is one of each — worth checking if you're a larger group). The kitchen is fully equipped: a De'Longhi automatic espresso machine (beans included), a Balmuda toaster, a Vitamix blender, a Panasonic Bistro oven-microwave, a rice cooker and kettle, plus a gas range and grill, a dishwasher, and a freezer. Pots and pans come in every size, with more than enough dishware, glasses, and cutlery — serve local meat and seafood on beautiful tableware. An in-room washer and gas dryer are free to use, so beach towels and swimsuits are clean and dry the same day. The cedar-and-cypress-scented rooms have ceiling fans, a 65" TV (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Fire TV), and a dedicated workspace — great for a workation. Children's books, toys, a booster seat, and kids' tableware are all provided. A single-story home with no stairs, its own guest entrance, and a fenced private backyard and patio for real privacy. Free parking is available on-site and on the street. A convenience store and supermarket are about 3 minutes away by car (10 on foot), Miyako Airport about 10 minutes, Painagama Beach about 4, and Yonaha Maehama Beach about 15 — a central location that makes it easy to get anywhere on the island. Right next door is the main villa, The Villa Miyako. Book both together for up to 16 guests across the two buildings — ideal for three-generation family trips or two families and groups who want room to spread out. A guests-only rental car service can arrange an 8-seat Toyota Voxy at preferential rates, with airport pickup from either Miyako Airport or Shimojishima Airport. Availability can be limited in peak season, so please ask early if you'd like one. Details are shared after booking.

The Villa Miyako — Hanare

6 guests · 2 bedrooms · 3 beds · 1 bathrooms

~Hanare~ is a sister villa of the popular whole-villa brand The Villa Miyako, and it has won a major booking site's Guest Review Award two years running since opening. Hanare sits in the center of the island, surrounded by sugarcane fields — remarkably quiet and private, with few shops nearby. On a clear night, step out to the field beside the house and the sky fills with stars. Wake to freshly ground coffee and cook island ingredients in the kitchen — this is the "live like a local" trip you can't get at a hotel. 80㎡, single-story, 2 bedrooms, sleeps 6 (bedding for 8). Bedroom 1 has a queen bed; Bedroom 2 has two double beds; the tatami space behind the living room fits two futon sets. One bathroom and one toilet, with tableware for 6. (7–8 guests per villa is possible for an extra fee — please ask in advance.) The kitchen is stocked with first-class appliances — a De'Longhi automatic espresso machine (beans included), a Balmuda toaster, a Vitamix blender, a Panasonic Bistro oven-microwave, a rice cooker, a kettle and a SodaStream — plus a stove, oven, dishwasher and freezer, with pots, pans, dishware and cutlery for everyone. The nearest restaurant strip is a little away, so the villa is set up for self-catering: cook Miyako beef, Agu pork and island seafood on beautiful tableware. Many guests tell us they "just bought ingredients and cooked, and wanted for nothing." Imgya Marine Garden and Shigira Beach are about 7 minutes away by car; Aragusuku Beach (sea turtles) and Yoshino Beach about 15. An in-room washer and dryer mean beach gear is clean and dry the same day. A single-story home with no stairs, its own guest entrance, backyard and free on-site parking — easy for small children and older guests. Cedar-scented rooms, ceiling fans, a TV and a workspace make it great for workations and long stays. On hot days we cool the house before check-in and chill sanpin tea in the fridge to welcome you. Right next door is the identically designed sister villa Yui. Book both for up to 12 guests (6 per villa), or add futons in each tatami space for bedding up to 16 across the two — ideal for three-generation trips and multi-family stays. A guests-only rental car service can arrange an 8-seat Toyota Voxy or a clean kei car at special rates (pickup at Miyako Airport; pickup/shuttle also at Shimojishima Airport). Availability can be limited, so please ask early. Details are shared after booking.

~Yui~ is a sister villa in the popular whole-villa brand The Villa Miyako.
