Hi there! We're the Nishiharas — a travel family of six, living between Hokkaido, Okinawa, and California, spending half the year on the road. Winters in Hokkaido's mountains, spring by the southern sea, summers wherever the world takes us. We're a family that never stops exploring.

For us, a place to stay is an extension of the journey itself. We didn't start hosting to maximize profit — we started it because we genuinely want every guest to feel at home. Traveling the world with four kidshas taught us exactly what travelers need: the anxiety of an unfamiliar check-in, the inconvenience of traveling with children, the exhaustion of a long journey. We've lived all of it. So we built our properties to quietly solve those moments, one detail at a time.

That care shows in the numbers: nearly 1,700 Airbnb reviews and a 4.98 rating. A score like that, at that volume, doesn't come by accident — and we're proud of it.

Every property is managed directly by us — no outsourcing, no third-party crews, no middlemen. Cleaning, guest communication, every fixture and piece of furniture: handled by people who know what it means to travel. That's why our hospitality feels different.

Miyako Island is one of our favorite places on earth. Some of the clearest water in Japan — “Miyako Blue” — white sand, and a slower island pace that takes over the moment you land. The Villa Miyako is our answer to that pace: whole-villa stays built for lazy pool mornings, easy rental-car drives around the island, and evenings with no one else's schedule but your own.
